For What It’s Worth – Liam Gallagher

Even for people who aren’t fans of Oasis, it is hard to ignore the voice of Liam Gallagher. I have been a fan of Oasis ever since the song Wonderwall came out and lately I was pleasantly surprised to hear the latest solo single from Liam. The song itself reminds me a bit of old Oasis hits but the honesty of the lyrics is relatable especially for those that have hurt people along the way.

Love My Life – Robbie Williams

With the new year here, I want to make sure that the year starts off on a positive note and I felt this song was quite uplifting. For many people, a year has its ups and downs but being able to make the most of it is the important thing.

Hush – Lasse Lindh

I have always found that Korean dramas have a lot musical gems in their soundtracks and latest song that I have discovered is a new song from Lasse Lindh.  I have always found his lyrics to be heartfelt and with his voice, there is something oddly calming about it. Hopefully everyone is having a calm start to a snowy Monday.

Crash and Burn – Savage Garden

It’s been a long time since I have written on the blog and I guess its in part of losing the passion for writing. For the past year, I have undergone a lot of changes from a personal level and while things have been less than ideal its always been music that has saved me. This song came out years ago during the height of Savage Garden’s fame but it still resonates with me. While everyone has listened to Truly, Madly, Deeply I feel that the band has so many more amazing music to explore.

Speeding Cars – Imogen Heap

If there was a series that truly exposed me to new music, I can safely said that The O.C would be one that helped create a large part of my iTunes library. I first heard of this song during the episode where everyone was graduating from high school and it was a defining moment for the central characters as they’ve collectively been through a lot of heartache but they’ve made it. Its been many years since the show went off air but till this day, I have continued to listen to many of the tunes from it.
